சீத மலம் வெப்பு வாத மிகு பித்தமான பிணி சுற்றி உடலூடே (seetha malam veppu vAtha migu piththam Ana piNi sutri udalUdE) : Dysentery, fever, rheumatism, acute biliousness and similar diseases that afflict this body; சீதபேதி, காய்ச்சல், வாதம், மிகுந்துவரும் பித்தம் என்ற நோய்களெல்லாம் சூழ்ந்துள்ள இந்த உடலினுள்

சேரும் உயிர் தப்பி ஏகும் வ(ண்)ணம் (serumuyir thAppi yEgum vaNam:) : make the life contained herein to slip away from it; சேர்ந்துள்ள உயிர் போகும்படி அதிக தீமை உண்டாகும்படி வருகின்ற சமயத்தில்
