Paraphrase

This song is based on the 'agapporuL Nal thAi irangal' form of poetry. A mother prays to the lord to shower His blessings on her daughter who is tormented by an intense love for Him and is unable to bear the separation from her Lord. இப்பாடல் அகத்துறையில் 'நாயக நாயகி' பாவத்தில் முருகனிடம் காதல் கொண்டு விரக தாபத்தில் வாடும் மகளுக்காக தாய் பாடும் பாட்டு -- நற்றாயிரங்கல்.
