Paraphrase

தினை ஏத்தி அன்பு செய் வேந்தன் பதாம்புயத்தில் (thinai eththi anbu sey vendhan pathaambuyaththil ) : At the lotus feet of my emperor who loves Valli, the lass who guards the Thinai fields, தினைப்புனம் காவல் காக்கும் வள்ளி மாதாவை காதல் புரியும் எம் அரசனின் திருவடி கமலங்களில்

பத்தி புந்தி நைவேத்தியம் உகந்து ஏற்றினர் (baththi pundhi naiveththiyam uganthu Etrinar) : those who offer happily their heart full of devotion and the intellect, பத்தி செய்கின்ற உள்ளத்தையும், புத்தியையும், அவருக்கு உரிய நைவேத்தியமாக விருப்பமுடன் சமர்பித்த அடியார்கள், பத்தி(baththi) : பக்தி; புந்தி(punthi) : புத்தி;

மாற்றினர் பாற்றினம் தீ தின் (mAtrinar pAtrinam thee thin) : have truly changed their (into an eternal entity) bodies which are consumed by fire and the hawks; உண்மையாகவே மாற்றி விட்டார்கள், பருந்துக் கூட்டங்களும், அக்னியும் சாப்பிடுவதான; பாற்றினம் — பருந்துக் கூட்டங்கள்; தீ தின் — அக்னி சாப்பிடுகிற,

ஐவேத்தியர் நெறி செல்லாத (ai vEththiyar neRi sellAtha ) : and do not follow the path advocated by wise thinkers, அழகிய அறிஞர்களால் உணர்த்தப்பட்ட மார்க்கத்தில் ஒழுகாததும், ஐ — அழகிய, வேத்தியர் — அறிஞோர், நெறி செல்லாத — விதித்த நல்வழியில் ஒழுகாத,

இந்திய தித்தி இனத்தின் நைவு ஏத்து இயங்கு உயிர்(inthiya thiththi inaththin naivu Eththu iyangu uyir) : and which is under the influence of the five senses and which is suffused with the excretion coming from various sweet preparations; such a life, பஞ்சேந்திரியங்களின் வசப்பட்டதும், தின் பண்ட வகைகளின் கழிவாகிய மலஜலமாதிகளை ஏற்றுக் கொண்டிருப்பதும், உள் நின்று இயங்குகின்ற பிராணனை; தித்தி இனத்தின் — தின் பண்ட வகைகளின்; நைவு — கழிவாகிய மல ஜலமாதிகளை,

கூற்று ஆரில் ஊசிடும் சீ உடம்பே (kootru Aril oosidum chee udambE) : which if consumed by Yama would putrefy; (such a body would become immortal if the devotee worships the Lord's feet with love and surrender to His will.) எமன் உண்டுவிட்டால் க்ஷண நேரத்தில் ஊசிப்போகும் அருவெருக்கத்தக்க இந்த உடம்பை (உண்மையாக ஒழித்து விட்டார்கள்). ஆரில் (Aril) : உண்டு விட்டால்;

வள்ளி நாயகனாகிய கந்தக் கடவுளின் சரணங்களில் பக்தியையும் புத்தியையும் நைவேத்தியமாக விருப்பமுடன் படைத்தவர்கள், பருந்து கூட்டங்களும் தீயும் தின்ன வல்லதும், பஞ்சாகமம் உணர்ந்தோர் உரைத்த வழி செல்லாததும், பஞ்சேந்த்ரியங்களின் வசப்பட்டதும், உணவு வகைகள் நைந்து செரித்து அதனாலான மலத்தைத் தாங்கிக் கொண்டிருப்பதும், உள்ளே இருந்து கொண்டு உடம்பை இயக்கி கொண்டு இருக்கும் உயிரை எமன் கவர்ந்ததும் நொடி நேரத்தில் ஊசிப் போகக் கூடிய 'சீ ' எனும் இழிவான இவ்வுடம்பை, உண்மையான ஒன்றாக, அழிவில்லாததாக, மாற்றி விட்டனர்.

The bodies of people, who do not follow the guidance of the enlightened one but run after the temptations of the senses, are merely a waste bag for the rotten digested foods and would be easily consumed by fire and vultures; but those who have surrendered their devotion and knowledge upon the lotus feet of my lord (who is also the lover of the mother Valli who guards the millet fields), have successfully turned their bodies into an eternal one.
