கமல மாதுடன் இந்திரையும் சரி சொ(ல்)ல ஒணாத மடந்தையர் சந்தன களப சீதள கொங்கையில் அங்கையில் (kamala mAthudan inthiraiyum sari sola voNAtha madanthaiyar santhana kaLaba seethaLa kongaiyil angaiyil ) : The call women, incomparable even to Saraswati and Lakshmi, with their breasts and hands smeared with sandalwood paste and other fragrant and cool lotions; கமல மாது(kamala madhu) : the lady on the lotus or Saraswati; இந்திரை (Inthirai) : Lakshmi;

இரு போது ஏய் களவு நூல் தெரி வஞ்சனை அஞ்சன விழியின் மோகித கந்த சுகம் தரு கரிய ஓதியில் இந்து முகம் தனில் மருளாதே (irupOthEy kaLavu nUl theri vanjanai anjana vizhiyin mOgitha kantha sugam tharu kariya Othiyil inthu mugam thanil maruLAthE) : I spend my day and night with these women; their kohl-lined eyes have perfected the art of stealth and deception, but instead of being seduced by their enticingly fragrant and dark hair and their moon-like faces,

அருள் தானே அறியுமாறு பெறும் படி அன்பினின் இனிய நாத சிலம்பு புலம்பிடும் அருண ஆடக கிண்கிணி தங்கிய அடி தாராய் (aruL thAnE aRiyumARu peRumpadi anbinin iniya nAtha silambu pulambidum aruNa Adaga kiNkiNi thangiya adithArAy ) : realize the Truth with the grace of your holy feet adorned with anklets making melodious sound of love with the reddish-golden beads in them!

மூஷிகம் உந்திய ஐங்கர கண ராயன் ( mUshikam unthiya aingara gaNarAyan) : The five-armed, Chief of ganas carried by the big rat (MUshikam); கணராயன் = கணங்களுக்கெல்லாம் தலைவன்;
