Paraphrase

எதிர் இலாத பத்தி தனை மேவி (edhirilAdha baththi thanai mEvi) : Filled with incomparable devotion to You,

இனிய தாள் நினைப்பை இருபோதும் (iniya thAL ninaippai iru pOdhum) : and meditating only on Your two lotus feet day and night,

இதய வாரிதிக்குள் உறவாகி (idhaya vAridhikkuL uRavAgi) : so that this thought merges in the ocean of my heart, and இருதயமாகிய கடலின் உள் கருத்தை பதிய வைத்து; வாரிதி - கடல். ஆழமான இதயமாகிய கடலுள் இறைவன் திருவடியாகிய மந்திரகிரி சேர்ந்தால் திருவருளமுதம் தோன்றும்.

எனது உளே சிறக்க அருள்வாயே (enadhuLE siRakka aruLvAyE) : and thrives within myself by Your grace!

கதிர காம வெற்பில் உறைவோனே (kadhira kAma veRpil uRaivOnE) : You reside at the mount of KadhirgAmam!

கனக மேரு ஒத்த புய வீரா (kanaka mEru oththa buyaveerA) : Your valorous shoulders are like the golden peaks of Mount MEru!

மதுர வாணி உற்ற கழலோனே (madhura vANi utra kazhalOnE) : Your anklets have melodious sounds! / Your feet are worshipped by Saraswathi whose speech is very sweet. சரஸ்வதி தேவியின் சொற்களின் இனிய நாதத்தை உடைய கழலை அணிந்த வீரரே! / இனிய மொழியையுடைய கலைமகள் வந்து போற்றும் திருவடியை உடையவரே!
